Presenter: Aaron Mitra

Aaron Mitra, Vice President at Phillips DiPisa brings more than 20 years of healthcare management experience to executive search. As a highly accomplished healthcare consultant, Aaron worked with hospitals and health systems to develop overall strategy and provide guidance on organizational design. In addition to his deep knowledge in healthcare strategy and operations, Aaron possesses expertise in revenue cycle management and healthcare IT. These skills, combined with a keen understanding of organizational dynamics, are invaluable in helping recruit senior-level executives that best fit an organization’s needs. Aaron has conducted senior level searches for community health systems, academic medical centers, independent community hospitals and large medical groups.

Prior to joining Phillips DiPisa, Aaron was a Principal with Health Strategies and Solutions, one of the nation’s leading healthcare strategy consulting firms. In this role, he worked with health system leaders to develop future vision and strategy and also guided organizations on topics involving potential mergers and acquisitions. Aaron began his consulting career with Arthur Andersen as a member of the firms Healthcare Business Consulting Practice. Prior to consulting, Aaron worked with the Michigan Peer Review Organization developing programs in quality improvement.

Aaron is an active member of several professional organizations in healthcare management including the American College of Healthcare Executives of which he is a Fellow. Aaron holds an M.H.A. from Cornell University’s Sloan Program in Health Administration, Ithaca, NY, and a B.S. in Health Care Administration from Ithaca College, Ithaca, NY.
