Ways to Get More Involved with NESHS Through Committee Involvement

Listed below is a brief description of the active committees within NESHS. If you have interest in joining any of the committees, please contact our Administrator at admin@neshs.org.

1. 1. Engagement Committee Co-Chairs:  Emily Lopez and Tara Montes
      Provide access to a superb network of professionals for consultation, benchmarking, collegiality and support. The Committee meets via Zoom on the last Thursday of the month from 3:30 – 4:00 PM.

   • Expand our membership within and beyond the New England area through offering insights from industry thought leaders

1. 2. Conference Committee Co-Chairs:  Regan Henry and Kathleen Porter
      Provide educational programs and services to facilitate the ability of our members to meet current and emerging challenges in their healthcare organizations. The Committee meets via Zoom on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 1:00 – 2:00 PM.

1. 3. Marketing Committee Co-Chairs: Gloria Plottel and Jennifer Driscoll
      Enhance outreach and communication to both members and non-members including active marketing and promotion of NESHS events and programs. Utilize internet technology as a strategic communications vehicle.  The primary goals are to increase member satisfaction, and retention, by facilitating members’ access to networking, educational and career information. Actively support the work of the program and webinar committees through coordination and implementation of promotional activities for educational programs, roundtables and webinars. The Committee meets via Zoom on the 2nd Monday of the month from 11:00 – 11:30 AM.

1. 4. Webinar Committee Co-Chairs: Lulu Arafat and Desirea Falt
      Maintain a robust, remotely-accessed, educational agenda providing meaningful educational opportunities for the membership. The Committee meets via Zoom on the 1st Thursday of the month at 9:00 AM.

      Provide sponsorship opportunities for consultants, advisors and other firms that support member strategists in order to support the growing needs of the organization.
