The Healthcare Strategist of the Year was an award developed by NESHS to recognize the contributions and achievements of its members in the following three areas:
- Outstanding performance in health care strategy, business and network development, and physician relations
- Mentoring of colleagues early in their careers and supporting colleagues with work or professional issues
- Conducting himself or herself with the highest ethical and professional standards
This year we are pleased to recognize Gail Costa as the 2016 NESHS Healthcare Strategist of the Year. Gail is the Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer for Care New England Health System. In this role she is the senior officer responsible for the strategic development of the health system and provides leadership on a broad range of strategy, policy and development matters.
Gail has been actively involved in NESHS for many years. In fact, she was involved in the formation of the New England Society for Health Care Planning and Marketing (NESHS today). She has served on our Board (multiple times) and our Membership Committee.
For all of her achievements and contributions, it is our pleasure to recognize Gail Costa as NESHS’ 2016 Strategist of the Year! Congratulations Gail!
