Webinar: Health System Finance After COVID – Understanding the Growing Financial Crisis Facing US Hospitals and What Leaders Should Be Doing Now To Prepare

April 16, 2020 @ 8:30 am - 9:30 am

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the US is unprecedented. While providers and policy leaders are working to care for the immediate surge in demands, the long-term financial impact of the pandemic is growing and may fundamentally change the landscape of health systems in the US. Using data reported by hospitals across the Northeast, ECG has developed a model to analyze the impacts of several major COVID-related challenges on the fiscal sustainability of health systems across NESHS’s membership area to demonstrate the potential ramifications of COVID and to provide insights as to how senior system leaders can begin preparing and responding to the new economic realities that will result from the pandemic.

Presenters: John Budd & Don Briones, MBA
