WEBINAR: Leveraging Digital Health to Keep Patients Engaged in a COVID World

October 15, 2020 @ 8:30 am - 9:30 am

The COVID-19 pandemic is being viewed as the single largest disruptor in American healthcare over the past few decades. The pandemic has required health systems to quickly pivot to predominantly digital front door methods of patient and staff engagement while adapting the hospital environment to care for patients infected or showing symptoms of the novel coronavirus.

With the implementation of social distancing measures to slow the spread of the virus, healthcare delivery systems have drastically scaled back services, including postponing clinic visits, procedures and non-urgent surgeries. As the world moves past the first wave of infections and towards possible second and third waves with no near-term vaccines on the horizon, health systems and physician practices globally are working on a way to reassure patients of safety while caring for them.

This presentation will provide insight and guidance on the facilitation of this vision where technologies deemed best in class will be the ones that enable providers to effectively coordinate and deliver better care via a single view of the patient, while also driving personalized, one-to-one patient engagement that fosters trust. The adoption of such solutions is a vital component to ensuring the best health outcomes for our communities and the financial recovery of the healthcare system.
