Jody Daniels
 |
Jody Daniels has
been with Yankee Alliance since 1990. As Senior VP Corporate Services she is responsible
for corporate communications and for all Human Resources functions in the corporate office. She previously served as VP Information Services, providing market research to Yankee Alliance
members. Managing a multiple database system,
Jody served as a centralized source for strategic
planning, market analysis and decision support
to enhances information sharing and cost savings for all members. |
Jody has an undergraduate degree in English and Education
from Loyola University of Chicago and an MBA in Healthcare
Management from Boston University. She brings 20 years
of experience in financial, operational and clinical
areas at various academic medical centers.
Before joining Yankee Alliance, Jody was the administrator
for the Community Residential Services Department at
McLean Hospital for eight years. She was responsible
for day to day operations and financial planning and
analysis for a network of nine residences and ambulatory
care programs with a budget of over $2.5 million. She
also had primary responsibility for accreditation, licensing,
and contracts with regulatory agencies and third party
payors.
Prior to McLean she spent four years as program coordinator,
triage officer and therapist at The Psychiatric Walk-In
Clinic at The University of Alberta Hospital. As part
of this position she coordinated and implemented clinical,
educational, research and community programs for a staff
of twelve therapists. The previous four years were spent
as a psychiatric social worker on the inpatient unit
at McMaster University Medical Center in Ontario. While
at McMaster Jody held an appointment as an Instructor
in the Department of Psychiatry, teaching interviewing
skills and group dynamics to medical and nursing students.
Jody is a member of the AHA Society for Healthcare Planning
and Marketing, AHA Society for Healthcare Human Resources
Administration, International Webmasters Association,
and HTML Writers Guild.
