Board Member Bios - Kathleen Cowette

Kathleen Cowette is the Director of Planning at St. Joseph Healthcare in Nashua, New Hampshire.
St. Joseph Healthcare is a comprehensive health care system including St. Joseph Hospital, a 210-bed community hospital and level II Trauma Center, a certified home health agency and medical equipment company, and a large network of primary care and specialty physician practices.

Ms. Cowette has been with St. Joseph Healthcare since 1999. Prior to this position, she was the Planning Manager at Optima Healthcare in Manchester, New Hampshire. In her current role with St. Joseph, she provides leadership, direction and management of strategic, operational and facility planning initiatives. Most recently she has had direct involvement with the development and execution of the organization’s significant master facility planning project. In addition, she is responsible for the oversight and management of the system’s community benefit activities and reporting.

Ms. Cowette graduated from Plymouth State College with a B.S. in Business Administration in 1991. She is a member of the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development and the Health Care Management Association. She resides in Londonderry, New Hampshire with her husband and two young children.
